Kiroa (the “Service”) treats photos of you and your family as something very precious. Here, we explain — as plainly as we can — how we handle the information you share with us.
Our Four Promises About Children's Photos
- We obtain parental consent
For artwork made using a photo of a child, a parent or guardian must review and consent to it before use. - An adult confirms payment
Purchases are expected to be made by a parent, guardian, or other adult. We confirm this as part of the checkout process. - Photos are never used to train AI
We never use the photos or artwork you share with us to train or fine-tune any AI model. They are used solely to create your artwork. - Deleted 30 days after upload
Uploaded photos are deleted from our storage within 30 days of upload as a general rule, once they've been used to create your artwork. If you'd like them deleted sooner, just let us know.
Information We Collect
The Service collects the following information:
- Words you enter and photos or images you upload for creating your artwork.
- Contact details — such as your name, address, and email — needed to deliver your goods.
- Payment-related information (processed securely by our payment processor).
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you share with us only for the following purposes:
- To generate your artwork and produce and deliver goods.
- To respond to inquiries and send necessary communications.
- To maintain and improve the quality of the Service.
As noted above, we never use your photos or artwork to train or fine-tune AI models.
Sharing With Third Parties
To print and ship your goods, we share the necessary delivery information with our printing partners (such as Printful). To process payments, we use a payment processor (such as Stripe). We share information with these providers only to the extent necessary, and require them to handle it appropriately. Except as required by law, we do not share your personal information with third parties for any other purpose.
Photo Retention and Deletion
Uploaded photos are deleted within 30 days as a general rule, once they have been used to create your artwork. Order records (such as which product was made) may be retained for as long as needed for accounting or legal compliance purposes.
Your Rights
You may request to review, correct, or delete your own information. A parent or guardian may make the same request regarding their child's information. To make a request, please contact us using the details below.
Keeping Your Information Secure
We manage the information you share with us using appropriate security measures. That said, please also understand that guaranteeing 100% security of data transmitted or stored over the internet is technically difficult.

We may update this Policy as needed. If there is a significant change, we will announce it on this page.
